I did enjoy this book as I have the rest of the Alex Rider series.... but. I didn't understand the motivation for making the villain an Anglican Minister/Reverend. To me, it just seemed like typecasting, and the stereotype of the evil/corrupt Christian charlatan pretending to be righteous but actually a killer, thief or liar was tired, old and overused even when this came out.

I guess its just that I know Mr Horowitz is an excellent writer, and it disappointed me he felt the need to fall back on silly stereotypes like that.
