My goal is to eventually read every Dean Koontz book. I figured I'd start 2018 with his first, which is quite different from what he's known for.
I didn't dislike the book, I just thought it was okay for a science fiction book. The dialogue was stilted and many of the characters were cliche and one-dimensional.
Written by a twenty-something heavily into the sci fi books of the day and trying to find his place in publishing. On that level it is commendable.
