I had such high hopes for this book. I was looking forward to the great sex and characters ann eventually the love story.

I was loving everything about this book for most of it. I love Olive and Kate together and the love they seemed to find with each out.

I think the development with Erato was a little much for me. if I could change anything it would be her at the end of the book. she was a bit much

and the fact that Kate just listened to her bothered me.
but I loved most of the story

Trigger warnings for the book: emotional manipulation, abuse & gaslighting

This book is a smutty sapphic romance with 60% smut 40% plot and the plot was unbelievable at best and uninteresting at worst. The characters are lacklustre and don’t show any depth beyond what’s necessary to further the plot but what else can you expect from smutty novels lol. If you are looking for a nonsensical book with a lot of smut then this will be a decent read for you.

However, I rated it 0.5 star because I didn’t care for the story nor for the sex in it; I just trudged through the book [and skimmed through so so many chapters] because I wanted to see how it would end and quite frankly? I wasn’t a fan of its peculiarity & Erato’s manipulation & emotional abuse being portrayed as purposeful and as something that delivers “results”, it just didn’t sit right with me. So if you are also someone like me who has a sharp distaste for books that show abuse as purposeful, then I’d recommend you avoid reading this.

O'Brien is hit or miss with me, and this one was a miss. I will keep reading them because every once in a while I will really enjoy one. If you are a big fan of hers you will probably enjoy this one.
