WOW. I kinda walked blindly into this story since it was gifted to me. But wow, was this heartwrenching. This was also my first Colleen Hoover book and I can totally understand the hype around her books. Her writing added so much depth to this difficult and complex story.
Brb, going to go get all her books from the library now.

3.5 ⭐ It is not my type of book, but I really enjoyed it...

I must say that I thought it will be worst, like I said it is not my type of book... I don't enjoy them that much but I really love the way Colleen Hoover wrote the story, it kinda got me and that's the reason I will give all her book a try!

Speaking about the book, I thought 2 things:
1. Lily was going to forgive Ryle and they will end up together, thanks god that didn't happened because I think that's the reason I enjoyed the book... I didn't end the way I thought it would end

2. Well... I really thought Ryle was going to kill her HAHAHAHAHAHAAH after reading "Verity" and see in TikTok everyone cry at the end of "It end with us" going through the book I was waiting for Ryle to kill her

For me, the ending (after she left Ryle) was so meh... I know Atlas and her helped to each other but I found the ending a bit forced... a "Happy ending" she crossing with Atlas in the street like by magic and both agreeing to be together, for me I would have been better if Atlas and Lily interaction would have end when she went back to her apartment...

But now Colleen announced "It start with us" and of course it will be about Atlas and Lily and im kinda into it because I want to see how that relationship will be now that they are adults and how that will work with Emma and Ryle

It is a REALLY good book, a real story wrote it beautifully but for me it was not necessary heart broken

Read this in a recommendation from my dad. The story is good, but I think the writing style was a little trite at times and felt a little more YA than I usually read. I’m glad to see what all the fuss was about and have to admit I did finish it pretty quickly. I thought the characters were good but the way Hoover writes is subtle as a brick and I found Lily’s inner monologue really annoying at times. But overall not a bad story, I just wish it had a different author
