"Whenever I'm a little blue I think about cyanide, whose color so perfectly reflects my mood."
Ah, Flavia, it is good to be in your company again.

have i mentioned how i adore flavia? such a sassy little brilliant thing! the mystery in this one wasn't my favorite, but the scenes with her family and dogger may have been... and what an ending!! off to book 6 now!!

Love the protagonist in this series. A bit of science, a bit of fun - all from a child's perspective. The child is young but extremely mature.

I thought "sweetness at the bottom of the pie" was a great book. I don't think any of the follow up books have been as good. I can't believe Flavia ris still only 11. While reading this book I decided I was t super interested in all the science and also that I was really tired of her sisters being so mean to her. About half way through the book it got better. I liked this book better than the last few and I am sure I will read the next one.
