Another fabulous Jan Brett book. I still love reading her stuff. This is a new one to me, the story came out in 2020. The setting is the cold tundra of Alaska. Cozy is a furry musk ox.

Cozy is separated from his heard and alone in the great arctic storm. Some other animals are also looking for shelter and they begin to use Cozy as a warm shelter from the storm. Each page collects a different cute white fluffy animal seeking shelter from the storm.

A simple concept, very cute animals. The borders show you the next animal on the way. The kids would have loved this book. It's not funny, but it has cute fluffy animals and that was always popular with them.

This is a nice heartwarming story - great for a hot summer day when one needs a relief from the heat.

I love the way this author draws, it is beautiful. It felt so cozy, the way story progressed in a repeating fashion, where everyone is taking care of each other. It is all just so cute and nice.

Jan Brett's books are classics for a reason. This one was sweet and gentle, and invites you to look up some animals and words the kids may not know about. The art is great.

Gorgeous artwork and another classic story from Brett. Cozy is a musk ox who provides shelter to various animals during a harsh winter. The book does a great job of showing how these animals can live in harmony with Cozy, even though their natural foes, in order to overcome the cold. A good story to use with young ones (or old ones!) to remind about working together for an overall goal: survival.

Wonderful book to read cuddled up under a warm quilt with squirming kids.  Then act out the spring story!
