this would’ve been a 5 star read if the fmc was a little less insufferable with her back and forth “i hate him i love him” journey. otherwise, i loved this and i most definitely need kill kallum biblically. i did notice a few spelling mistakes in this one, but nothing crazy.

Commune with me, your fucking god.”

The devil and his dark muse.

Nobody does it like Trisha Wolfe. In Hollows Row, small town with a constant cloudy skies, Halen battles with her own mind while trying to solve the brutal ritualistic crimes. Kallum and Halen are even more melded in the second book. Halen is convinced he committed these crimes and is in denial over her own memories and feelings. The musings of philosophy and brutal crimes are so interesting to follow, even though i missed a few things regarding all Kallum’s ramblings. I love them!! So much!! They are so sexy and dark, and I'm glad I got to see Halen giving in to their connection. This twist was really good. And Chapter 16 & 17 changed my life. Kallum is one of my favorite book bfs and I was giggling every time he spoke or his POV came up. I read both print and audiobook and Joe Arden was so hot as Kallum!! I will read anything Trisha writes and before I was done with this one, I ordered Lovely Wicked Things. Kallum and Halen, twisted soulmates forever.

“Anything my muse asks of me, I do willingly.”

Kallum and the series had grown on me with this book. In the first book, Kallum was tried hard but took it down a notch in this one. I love that he pulled Halen's memory out of her and reflected it back. Nice twist at the end.
