I finished this series mostly out of curiosity but couldn't get past the portrayal and descriptions of Little Pete, a severely autistic four-year-old character. It was difficult to read passages that described his mind as "tortured, twisted, and stunted" etc. The rest of the book answered the big questions about the series while leaving some of the smaller questions believably unanswered and tying up a lot of the plots within the book.
