OH MY GOD THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD. Not on the same level as ignite me but that ending had me REELING even though one part of it was kinda predictable a few chapters back, but jesus i audibly gasped when

Juliette wipes out 600 people very graphically and MULTIPLE SIDE CHARACTERS DIE WTF??

. Still not over it. cringed at some of the things Juliette did but by the end of the book i loved her bc she’s just so realistic to me. She’s not perfect and she knows it but she’s confident anyway and i love it. Kenji is still a top tier character. Aaron mf Warner oh my god. He’s so 😩😩😩. I have no words. He’s so husband material in this honestly like Tahereh Mafi delivered.

This one had a huge miscommunication plot and the characters were very passive. A lot of talk of having to do so much and very little of anyone actually doing anything.

3.5 stars rounded down. This was a loaded book. I am in a state of shock right now. Look up TRIGGER WARNINGS for sure before reading. I was utterly shocked at the ending, however, it felt incomplete and rushed. I love Kenji, and Warner as usual, and I now LOVE Nazeera. I also loved seeing Warner's POV. This book put me through a complete river of emotions. I do think the introduction of the new characters was kinda rushed, and it was hard to understand the plot with so many people. The ending was sad but is a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait to read the novella.
