Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi was just as fast paced as the first three books in Juliette’s story. I love being able to see the other side, as well as the edition of Warner’s point of view. I feel like this book allows us more insight into both characters, and allows us to see Warner’s pure feelings. I also think these books are a great representation of mental illness, and living through them. This was a really fast and quick read, much like the other before it, and I’m really excited to see where this series goes from here! If you’ve enjoyed the first three in this series, it’s a safe bet you’ll enjoy this one, too!

What did I just read?

The first half (if not more) of the book felt like white noise. I wasn’t really interested in Juliette and Warner and their relationship drama, which was made especially ridiculous by the fact that they’d only been dating around a month. Also, the “issues” Juliette is facing are kind of silly and mostly stem from her being an idiot thinking that the role of Supreme Commander would be easy. I had so much secondhand embarrassment from reading about her trying to be good at politics.

The other half of the book was just confusing. Everything happened too quickly and things came out of nowhere, making me feel like I was either missing something or losing my mind.

I’m not going to add any spoilers because I don’t even really know what was revealed.
