I nearly gave up on this, but I started to like it a lot more when I ditched the intolerable audiobook narrator with the nails-on-a-chalkboard-inducing Texan accent in place of a good ol', regular-degular kindle copy where I can read in denial that the main male character is southern.

a solid one for people who like their roms with significant age gaps. and little humans.

someone please take this man's cowboy hat away though, dear god this is long island ny not a rodeo.

I LOVE THIS SERIES! This book was definitely one of my favorites!

I am OBSESSED with the hero. He wears a cowboy hat and is obsessed with the heroine….need I say more??

Meh. Not for me. I didn’t particularly like the characters, it was crude and a little stupid. I thought there would be more of an interior design aspect but even that fell flat.

Decent age gap / enemies/ forced proximity. Felt rushed and not a ton of character development

Tessa Bailey always writes these beautiful characters with details that make you feel like you know them to their core! This was a fun, age-gap, opposites attract, story between Bethany and Wes, along with the charming little Laura! When you’ve spent your whole life putting up walls, it is incredibly difficult to tear them down and needs the right person with the right tools to accomplish that task.

Meh. Kind of a slow fizzle compared to Fix Her Up. Different things bugged me about this book, but for the most part the areas that Tessa Bailey is great at (banter, ✨garbage✨ talk, etc) she stays great at.
