Another fantastic Mercy Thompson book. As much as i hate to say it though I hope the series wraps up soon before it gets redundant like the Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton

This story line was really great. But it could have been told better if just Lorelei King narrated. All I can say is that it’s a good thing I’ve listened to her narrate all the previous books in the series, because she made me love Adam. But with a newcomer, who evidently hasn’t read the series, I would not have been a big fan of Adam if this was my only experience of him.

This series is FANTASTIC!! I’ve loved the audio of all the books, just not as much this one. Lorelei King is an amazing and very versatile narrator!!!

I’m still giving it 5 stars, because the writing is phenomenal, as usual. I love Patricia Briggs!!

This was really well done. At first, the switching perspectives bugged me (they always do, it's tough for my ADHD), but I ended up liking it, honestly. This was a good book in the series, well plotted, very creative. I also did not see the twist at the end.

I can't find fault with the book itself, but I'm quite disappointed with the audiobook. Why, in book 10, would they suddenly add a male narrator for Adam??
Newbern might be talented, but his voice is not Adam. It made Adam sound like a petulent 19 year old, and I kept zoning out during his chapters.

The story itself a bit repetitive, but still nice. I liked that we got a new setting, shaking things up a little bit.

Silence Fallen is the 10th book in the Mercy Thompson series and gives us a unique dual POV with Adam and Mercy as they're separated across countries. This is probably one of my favorite books in the series, mostly because it feels like we get to step back and absorb some of what's been going on in the last few books. That is not to say that Mercy and Adam are getting any kind of break as
Mercy is kidnapped by Bonarata. Why you ask? No clue really until the very end of the story. As the reader we are constantly wondering the why behind the what. Adam puts together his version of the A team to rescue Mercy from Italy once they figure out where she's disappeared to. This team includes Marsillia and Elizaveta our two fierce female side characters as well as Larry the Goblin king, a new ally, and a few other unassuming people to crew the plane. That feels important, to be unassuming. Who do we know that flourishes on being underestimated? Matt Smith also seems to know so much about what is going on for someone that just entered the story. (I missed the reference here because I'm not a Who follower). Seriously Bran, just putting yourself out there in danger but we all knew you loved Mercy dearly, did you have to wait so long to say it!
In the end it's still murky who really twisted the threads of fate to bring Mercy to Europe.
