I found this book hard to get into and also in some areas lacking in research overall it was good but I thought it felt unfinished at the end.

Once you’ve learned shame, it settles into your skin like a tattoo. You can cover it up but you can’t scrub off the sense of inadequacy.

There were a few grammar mistakes which bugged me but as for the story I absolutely loved it and loved Angels side plot.

This was an amazing, adorable book. I really loved everything about it. The relationships were really sweet and I loved how the boys were like a family. I also loved how it addressed the challenges of fame and how fame that young can hurt people. I really loved the Ruben and Zach plot as well as the progression of Jon, and especially, Angel. I really loved their progression as a group and as a family. I was so enthralled in the book and their story that I was angry with how it ended because I wanted to see more and find out what happened after. Overall, it was a really sweet and brutal book that I loved (and I can definitely make connections, whether or not they’re true…)

I LOVED this book. I picked it up initially because I was so intrigued by the concept. So, going into it, I was just expecting it to be about a romance. I wasn’t expecting the story to be so emotional and hard-hitting, while simultaneously being so hopeful and heartwarming. Even though it tackles a lot of serious topics, it’s still a very lighthearted and funny read, which I love.

I was rooting for #Zuben the whole way through, and I loved the relationship between all the band members. Ruben, Zach, Angel and Jon make a perfect team. The problems they face come from outside the band rather than within it, and it’s so nice that they have each other to lean on through everything they’re put through.

This book is fluffy and funny, but also outlines the difficulties of working and existing in the spotlight of fame - especially as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

This was such a fun read and was cute and angsty. The plot was great and it did not fall into the 3 act romance structure
