This book was pretty twisted, and that's what made it so good. I thought the multiple POV helped a lot with that, really showing the uglier sides of the characters. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, I felt a little unsatisfied/unconvinced with how everything wrapped up.

4.5 Wow! Gillian Flynn did it again! Her writing is so impressive and creative. Everything she writes makes you feel a part of the story. Half way through the book I thought I had it all figured out. Boy was I wrong. The ending was not what I expected.. Great book!

I thought this novel was great in typical Gillian Flynn fashion. A deeply disturbing psychological thriller.

I listened to this on audible and found it just as twisted and shocking as Gone Girl. Through out the entire book I kept trying to figure out who really did it and when I found out what happened I was floored.

This book had a good interesting story that made you want to know what really happened to the murdered family but in the end the answer was kind of sad and disappointing. The story made you keep guessing who might of done it and made it hard to believe who might of committed the murders. Some of this book was a little bit irritating like the main character and her personality and how she would act about certain things. I might say that she was just not meant to be the most likable character. The story bounces back and forth between current day with Libby and the past with her brother or mother and what is going on from their point of view. I would also comment that Gillian Flynn has again released another book that has some really dark themes that can disturb you or simply make you feel uncomfortable. There was a few times that as I listened to the audiobook in my car I would feel the need to turn down the volume at stoplights due to the material.
