okay that was a confusing volume. we had a lot of set up for character motives and future action but not a whole lot of movement plot wise. we got some interesting character development with the side characters and a further development of the series lore but due to this the plot pretty much went nowhere. curious about the series overall but the slow pace is starting to get slightly annoying. overall an okay volume which did a fair amount of ground work for later plot lines and twists at the los of a lot of plot movement

Cute and simple, not the most interesting one but still really enjoyed learning more about Bishamon and some of the other characters/shinki.

Oh my goodness my BABIES š Iām not ready to see Hiyori forget yato- I know from the anime she will remember him but that doesnāt make me any more ready for it. This volume is so sad, we have bishamon who doesnāt even know sheās being stung by one of her shinkiās. Then we have Yukine who finally made a friend AND he got killed- it makes me so sad. He was keeping the cherry blossom Alive for her and itās just so sad. Then tenjin is like ā cut ties with hiyoriā LIKE NOOOO. THEY ARE THE GOLDEN TRIO. And the endinggg. When yato was like ānot as long as thereās one person who never forgets meā Iām not ready for the next volumes.

A slightly quieter story than the last volume, the story remains great as we learn more about some of the characters. At the same time, tension increases as plots and intrigue grow from unexpected places. There's a clash coming, and it's hard to tell where the lines will be drawn.

I really like the art in this. There's just something about it that I love seeing.
