I love this series, it was a really great installment where we learnt more about Bishamontenand her connection with her Shinki’s. Stray’s manipulation was so sad though.

I wasn’t really feeling the last volume, but this one was definitely a step up.
We get some more of Yato and Hiyori here, see that Yukine is doing better and working after the last volume. Yato is trying to push Hiyori away, because a human being close with Gods and ayakashi is bad, and they eventually forget about them with time. I like the development here, how they’re all kind of wondering and aware, but none of them want it to happen. I also really like Kofuku; she’s so adorable and positive, and just great.
But mostly we got to see and understand Bishamonten. She pretty much collects Shinki, because she wants to save everyone, only she can’t take care of all of them. It’s a slippery slope and she’s going downhill. Her closest shinki are trying to help, but it’s hard, and she’s set in her ways. I was surprised by her storyline, and saddened. There’s also someone working against her, and that’s going to be bad.
This volume was better, and now I’m looking forward to the next one again.

okay that was a confusing volume. we had a lot of set up for character motives and future action but not a whole lot of movement plot wise. we got some interesting character development with the side characters and a further development of the series lore but due to this the plot pretty much went nowhere. curious about the series overall but the slow pace is starting to get slightly annoying. overall an okay volume which did a fair amount of ground work for later plot lines and twists at the los of a lot of plot movement
