I liked this book to a point, and that point was the climax of the ending, it was at this point in the story that I found it hard to put the novel down. I really like Elizabeth Searle's writting, but I felt that the story did tend to drag and other parts were sort of lost.

What I liked most was the way it was written, not only was it done in two point of views, but it was from two completely different perspectives of a mother and her teenage son. I liked that they were both trying to find themselves along the storyline and both were holding great secrets.

the way that the characters were written and described was well done in the sense that I did get frustrated with them and wanted to shake them when they were being weak, getting me involved with the story.

I love the cover work and I feel it ties in well with the novel, and I like how each chapter design started as well as the design for letting the reader know which character they were seeing from.
