Unsure how reliable my review of this will be, since I accidentally read the sequel first- therefore I unintentionally know the main gist and ending of the entire book. That aside- an interesting read, very solid adult novel with very lovable and hate able characters alike.

Décevant. Le tout était assez prévisible. L’histoire était trop tirée par les cheveux pour être réalistes et vraiment m’emporter. Le livre était trop long.

Lisa never disappoints! Her writing style, the characters, and how twisted one family’s life completely changed just by being nice. Sometimes the Devil can be on your doorstep and you’ll never know.
