I loved this well-written retelling of a favorite series from childhood from an adult perspective. Things I’ve never thought of - maternity corsets and the joy of a piece of candy on Christmas morning. Plus I’ve taken to going to the “necessary” rather then the bathroom.

It was okay? I liked it and it did draw me in but not very much. It was almost too descriptive for my taste but in some spots things weren't expanded on that seemed to need expanded on. Despite that, still worth a read if you enjoy LH or that era in history.

Interesting adventure with trips to the necessary, not much eating and a loyal dog.

Not as good as original series. Caroline isn’t a likable character.

I felt like I was there living right among them! So sad it’s over! 💗

I really wanted to love this book. The idea of Little House from Ma's perspective sounded so good. The research was well done. The ideas were great. But, it was written as if it were Ma's thoughts in a young person's voice. This read like a stilted YA to me, and was too drawn out. Sorry to say it was a miss for me.
