I found it somewhat unrealistic that Lottie didn't tell her loving and supportive parents about her anxiety, and that her parents didn't realize how bad things were. And I really didn't like the romance between Lottie and Sam. It was creepy and gross and I'm pretty surprised anyone could find it appropriate, tbh.
