This was cute and sweet. I liked the little bit of Nina and Ollie we got to see. But, I just didn't love Raine as much as Nina and Jo from the other books. I know Raine has ADHD, but I don't like main characters who are always, look at me, I'm such a mess, so adorable. Still, I liked it overall.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book!! I was hooked right from the start and adored Raine and Jack! The setting was perfect and I even liked the cat and I'm not a cat person. This book made me laugh out loud, cheer and hope. We all deserve happiness and this book REALLY shows this!! A MUST READ.

“Aithníonn ciaróg, ciaróg eile,” he says. “It's an Irish proverb. Roughly translated, it means, One beetle recognizes another.” — This is when the book went from a cute and light romance read to one of a deeper substance. My husband and I both fit under the neurodivergent umbrella - not that I always knew that - having been diagnosed late like many women (including the main character).
The portrayals of, and discussions around both ADHD and OCD were very realistic and didn’t seem forced in any way. I think I read a synopsis for a Christmas novel that has a very very similar beginning - telling someone how to improve a business without realizing they’re the owner and getting offered a job - but I bet the similarities end there. Very much enjoyed these two characters and their journey finding home together.
