Great story. Second book I loved from this author. I tend to enjoy stories about young characters.

This book was stunning Im just in love with the way Kristin Hannah writes. This story had so much beautiful detail to the scenery that I felt I was right there with Leni. It was always very intense from start to finish because of the dangers of Alaska and the dangers of Lenis family. It had this creepy undertone to it which I enjoyed. Leni and Mathew were so cute anytime we got a moment with them it was like a breath of fresh air because of how Intense the rest of the book was. One of my favorite parts of this book was Leni and Coras relationship I didn’t realize how attached I was to them until Cora died and I started to cry.
I’m SO happy that Mathew and Leni got their happy ending in the end if anyone deserved it it was them. The only thing that knocked it down from being a five star is that sometimes it felt a little repetitive in some aspects but I would HIGHLY recommend this book.

I love this book so much! Honestly the pacing was perfect, kept you on your toes enough and I’m happy about the ending no matter how unrealistic it is that’s why I read books to live in my delulu land and I loved every second of it
