The story of Gwen & Craig’s relationship is one that has lasted 10 years from the first impromptu meeting in a park thanks to their siblings. Since then their friendship from their playground days to college life has gone through sooo much and one that they were able to work out together until that one frat party changes things.

Gwen tends to keep certain things to herself to the point where it started affecting the closeness she has with Craig. His future goals entail baseball in hopes that he can reach his dreams of making it big thanks to the company and ongoing cheering team from his best friend. However, playing the field are not the same when Gwen starts acting differently and pulls away from him and he does not understand why.

“I’ve loved you for ten years, and nothing will ever change that.”

I enjoy this 4 stars reading about long-term friendships and how over time things happen and people grow up and whether to see if time can truly test them. Needless to say in Gwen and Craig’s story…years have past and they both have feelings for more with one another but something is holding them back. Their story is more than just the typical breaking of their friendship if things turn bad it is that if walls are not broken down it can be driven to despair. With out revealing anything I will note that some scenes can affect the faint of heart, which in turn will either make or break the long-term friendship. Pick up a copy today and check out the emotional feels 10 years can bring about.

My review responses on Audible:
"A story that will test the time of friendship..."

Would you try another book from Bethany Lopez and/or Honey St. Dennis?
I have been a fan of Bethany Lopez's books for some time now and will continue to read and/or listen to anything she writes.

As for the performance by Honey St. Dennis it would depend on the story she is narrating. As my first time listening to her it was not one that I could fully get into.

What didn’t you like about Honey St. Dennis’s performance?
I am not a fan of this narration. The flow of the story felt somewhat rush, sounded the same throughout the read, and did not give me any feels when listening to a story being told. For this particular book I had preferred reading it on my own.

A nice simple read, nothing overly special but it was good for a bit of escapism.

Gwen and Craig have been childhood friends ever since meeting each other when their older siblings hang out together. However events in Gwen's life has caused her to turn into someone who tends to bottle up her feelings when she gets hurt and distance herself from those who hurts her. Will they ever realize their love for each other in time,or will Gwen always keep Craig away?
