I think this might be one of the most well-written classic Wattpad-esque lighthearted high-school rom-coms I've read. A deliciously entertaining academic rivals to lovers book with well-rounded characters, a healthy dose of humor, and the right amount of twists and turns. I will definitely be reading more Ann Liang.

This was such a cute young adult contemporary romance. I enjoyed reading it. I related to Sadie so much. The need to try to be perfect and a people pleaser was very much my vibe in high school. I don’t think there were really many consequences to any actions in this book so I can’t rate it higher but I wish I could hand this book to my high school self because she would have loved this.
