I loved Jessie. He felt like a real person to me. Story line was pretty good but the end was kind of cheesy.

This book was really good and really hard to read. Long term amnesia is no joke and this book portrayed it well as well as other sensitive topics

Even though this was really predictable, it was really interesting and addictive to push through. The narrators were great, the writing was great, it was all-around really great. I love the idea of the "Then" and "Now" being divvied up between the two mains and how that slow burn of details happened. It was really good and it was well worth the time.

K.A. Tucker has done it again! If you were a fan of the Ten Tiny Breaths series then you are going to enjoy this book.

Similar to TBB, the plot is complex and the story line is quite twisted. Some parts feel a bit too wild to be true but make for excellent entertainment value. The novel tackles many difficult issues and presents them in an appropriate way. I really appreciated the duo pov, Jesse's from the past and Water's from the present. The novel coincides perfectly between these two views making the ending truly satisfying.

I felt very neutral towards both Water and Jesse, they were enjoyable to read but I was not in love with either of them. Water was a good heroine, extremely easy to root for.

The storyline that was my favourite to read was between Water and Ginny. Tucker knows how to write a secondary character and my heart has such a soft spot for Ginny. Learning about her backstory and watching her develop throughout the novel was a treat.

Although I enjoyed this novel, the twist about the identity of Water felt too predictable and was revealed too early. It felt at times that the book dragged on because I was waiting for the truth to finally be revealed. I also struggled to see the connection that Water and Jesse had outside of anything physical and pure availability.
