Love the worldbuilding.

On re-read (first listen, second...consumption? that sounds wrong), I enjoyed this even more than I had the first time around. I wasn't sure about the narrator at first, but he quickly grew on me and does a great job of making the characters feel individual.

I've probably said it before, but it always bears repeating: I love Martha's worldbuilding and her characters. Moon and his experiences in the Three Worlds are always enjoyable and engrossing; so much so, in fact, that when my adult son overheard some of the book (about 1/3 of the way through), he asked me to only listen to it when he was around, because he wanted to hear. :-)

In the interests of full disclosure, I should mention that Martha is a friend of mine. However, the reason she's a friend is because I read her fiction and liked it so much that I ended up hanging out and chatting with her on social media, so.

Fun, fluffy fantasy about dragon people.  Although I have Questions about the social structures.

This book was a little slow for me in the beginning. I think I started it at least twice before powering through the first chapter and really getting into it. This book is fantasy at its best. I can't wait to keep reading about Moon and Chime and all the rest.

I'm simply too in love with this world, characters, and story to say words.
