Reading nonfiction is always a struggle for me so I ended up borrowing the audiobook version of this title. The many personal stories and illustrations throughout the book made the practical advice more meaningful and impactful. I'm glad I have the hardcover to reference as I apply what I learned.

I’m not religious, so I was hesitant to pick up this book, but since I recently started a small business, I thought I would check it out. Biblical references were pretty minimal, and I was pleasantly surprised to get some useful tips. Not a bad read.

I loved this book! Christie Wright is a Dave Ramsey personality who focuses on entrepreneurial women, mostly who are starting businesses from home. Some of it didn't apply to me because of the type of business I am doing, but I loved the information in the book, thought she did a great job with the organization, and came away from it fired up to work on my business again. I would definitely recommend this book to any entrepreneur and especially to any woman who wants to get into or start a business. I will probably be rereading at least sections of this book.

I love how Christy shares her life in little tidbits while also sharing actionable tips and tricks to start and scale your business. THIS is the business book that I believe all women/mom entrepreneurs should read or listen to. Even after being in business for 2 years, I still learned some neat tips and tricks to take my business to the next level.

Even though it is geared towards women, this book is a great asset to anyone who wants to start a business, but doesn't know where to start.

If I had found this book three or fours years ago, I likely would have gotten more out of it. The ideas are good, however they are a rehash of ideas I've read elsewhere. I enjoy her spin on it and can see the value in a book like this. Not all of it applies to my business, but it's helpful in a way. I'd recommend it more for the women who have yet to start a full business or have not done the research like I did.

Even though I started this book because I was considering starting a small business/hobby style, and ended up deciding to take another corporate job, I'm still glad I read this book. I've read plenty of books on how to write a business plan, and this is the first one that I could actually sit down and write a cogent business plan after reading it.

Also, I even made a house cleaning plan. I have a better idea on how to write speeches, and what makes people connect to another. This is a fantastic book. I even got past the part where her business is basically bible-based, because she is just that charming of an author!

I recommend highly.
