The secondhand embarrassment throughout reading the book was somehow not enough for me to put it down! I kept going because I needed to know what happened, and to be honest the twist did catch me out of nowhere and left me gobsmacked! I thought I had put things together but realized I only had the outline of the puzzle, all the inside pieces scrambled up. Likely would not recommend to a friend but it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve read.

I really enjoyed this book. I could not have predicted one bit of it and the suspense of unraveling the story was great. I also felt for the main character.

3.5⭐️finished this in 1 sitting!! so intriguing and loved the way it was written, did not see the first plot twist coming at all. sarah’s behaviour was literally insane at first though if any of my friends acted that way over a man they’d known for a week id be getting them some serious help

This isn’t my usual kind of read - it’s a second hand copy in a pile given to me by my auntie.

Im not sure what compelled me to pick it up but it was a quick read that I didn’t want to put down. I liked all of the characters and believed their unorthodox situation, and I didn’t see the plot twists coming.

Overall, a nice wee read which would be an ideal pick for a summer holiday abroad.
