No. Just, no. I tried and I cannot read stream of consciousness. This book may be worthy of all the praise and prizes, but I read 20 pages and I just wasn't interested.
It's a shame because a book with two different orders is a really good idea!

Really wonderful book, beautifully written and very meaningful. The juxtaposition of the two characters but also the way they're intertwined is really powerful.

Loving Ali Smith’s work right now - possibly (recency bias?) my new favourite author

Another gorgeous and surprising novel by Ali Smith. Her understanding of language, structure, art, and humanity is unsurpassed.
