I'm a sucker for Small town romances.
I'm a sucker for best friend's big brother romances.
I LOVED this story!

A couple of my fave romance elements combined and some beautiful writing, so I'm happy!
Did think that in the middle of the book it was a bit too much sexy-times focused, but the first and last part of the book definitely added some really great story-line and character development.

Definitely planning on reading more by this author and to buy this book in print as well - read it on my kindle but really want a printed copy on my shelves too!

Story:9/10
Spice:4/5
Spice Hierarchy: spicy
Narration: 4/5, dual

Marigold is back home helping her best friend grieve. She can’t escape her past when the man she’s been in love with her whole life is there too. Cade thought he was doing what was best for Mare but neither of them ever truly moved on. Now they are back together and might get a chance to rewrite their story moving forward

It’s small town, second chance, best friend’s brother.  I loved getting to see both of these characters POVs in the past and present. It showed so much of how their story unfolded.

I would absolutely let Cade work out his frustration in the tack room with me! 🥵 Cade might just be one of the biggest romantics even if he hides it under his grumpy exterior.

The narration for this was really well done. Aaron and CJ both brought these characters to life while being lovable and relatable.

If you are looking for a heartwarming, second chance at love story with a filthy mouthed cowboy. Rewrite Our Story is for you! I am excited to read more stories from Kat, but I am going to be honest when I say I missed a little drama in this book. I 100% will read this again while I am in need of something that will give me the warm fuzzies.

My only big wish was more interactions from other characters. But you know I will be first in line to read Pippa's story!!

If you like small town, second chance romances with the best friend's brother that is broody, sexy and has a dirty mouth on him, Rewrite Our Story is going to be one you want to put on your TBR.

A fast paced, sweet, and spicy read. I admire how Cade and Marigold fight to get their happy ending when all odds are against them. The past and present was used beautifully together to weave a stunning love story for these two.

My one negative was that I wanted to hear more storyline, sometimes I felt like the intimacy pieces were maybe a little too much.

Read if you love..

Small town
Best friend’s brother
Second chance
Emotional angst right off the bat
Cowboy
Dual POV
Past and Present timeline
