Pro milovníky řecké mytologie must read. Četla jsem to hlavně kvůli škole, kde jsem měla zadanou jednu báji, ale přečetla jsem všechny. Občas se četla dost těžce a nudila mě, hlavně u pár příběhů, které jsem dobře znala. Nejlepší byl ofc Orfeus, moje závislost.

Phew, this was hard to get through. See, as a kid, I loved this book. But now, I see it from a different perspective and... let's say, it's not exactly a feminist-friendly reading. (It didn't have much kindness and humanness in it either.) But can you evaluate an older piece of art based on modern standards? I don't know. Hence I'm avoiding to star-rate the book -- but there's no way this will find a place at my shelves.
Now I only wonder if it's the Greek myths I have issues with, or just this particular Czech retelling. Thank you, Lore Olympus, for saving the Greek myths for me for the moment.
