I read book one in this series last year and really enjoyed it. The theme of this volume was lies, so I expected it to be a bit painful to read, but it retained the mixture of grief, regret, and love - for friends, family, and lovers - that the first volume had. It was very bittersweet.
The writing style is quite nice and is simple but hard hitting. The author did a better job in the second volume with refraining from repeating the rules about the time travel, which annoyed me a bit in book one. The overall reading experience from story to story felt connected enough to make me appreciate that these stories were grouped together.
I ended up reading the physical version for the first half of the book and finishing it as an audiobook due to my library hold ending on the physical version. (I read/listened to this in Japanese.) Both were pleasant experiences. 4 stars. Recommended.
