I just wasnt siper invested. The romance seemed somehow secondary to all the museum stuff and so I guess I got bored.

I enjoyed this book, and I've enjoyed the whole series so far. The pace was pretty slow but Henry and Emily's relationship was so sweet. And I enjoyed the ending and how well everything came together, as well as some of the twists. I also loved the side characters and would love to continue spending time in this beautiful world.

I love Sian Ann Bessey's books and her newest The Unassuming Curator is the perfect addition to her series. Though you could read it as a stand alone you do meet Emily in book 3 of the series as the younger sister of the main character.

I love the Georgian Gentleman series because not only is there sweet romance but there is always a mystery and danger included. It gives a sense of urgency and a need to turn page after page to solve each and every novel.

There is no swearing, perfect lvl 1 intimacy with sweet kisses, and such well developed characters.

Emily and Henry are so easy to love with their mutual love of the wonders of the earth and they just both radiate goodness.

If you need a great series to give a go try out the Georgian Gentleman and then report back what you think! If you have read this series or any of the novels let me know your favorite!

Awww love a well-researched historical romance & this one highlights the workings & the early days of the British Museum. Plus I enjoyed learning about the early history of color blindness and how Henry didn't let that prevent him from pursuing his passion or his career. What I love about this series is we get a sweet romance, lots of history usually learning something new, with just a bit of suspense. Emily and Henry are just simply adorable together. Henry Buckland is a curator at the British Museum with a passion for natural history. Emily Norton is heading to London for her first Season along her way she has the most adorable meet cute with Henry. They discover they are kindred spirits bonding over a local variety of flower & their love of nature, plants & creatures. They both love natural science and aren't afraid to get dirty. The cast of supporting characters was also a joy to spend time with, especially Aunt Millward. A wonderful addition to the Georgian Gentlemen series!
