It's a good romance book. What I really liked that it showed all the ugly, sad and bad about life, but also overcoming such struggles. The characters all seemed very realistic and the author managed to tackle important topics without being disrespectful. But I wish there had been a bit more romance between Ramsey and Zoe. I wish we could have gotten more details about their developing relationships. It seemed a bit sudden and unexpected. I also absolutely hated that the author perpetuated the cliche of black/brown/PoC father's not being there for their children.
Graphic: Bullying, Infidelity, Toxic relationship, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Panic attacks/disorders, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Blood, Suicide attempt, and Pregnancy
Minor: Addiction, Alcoholism, Emotional abuse, Racism, Car accident, and Abandonment
