The Scar is a heart-wrenching and beautiful children’s book! I read this on #TikTok of all platforms! This book dives into the perspective of a child grieving the loss of a parent. I absolutely sobbed my little heart out! Such a powerful message in a small little book! Definitely will be a re-read for me in the future! I rated this 5 stars! ⭐️

This book made me cry. I have a great fear of losing my mom and it only developed and got greater during pandemics. It was very hard to read but also. It helps to know that you can live though the loss even if you didn't want to, in the beginning. I'm heartbroken
