I didn't think the first book could be topped but I love the second one just as much! The character development is making me fall in love with so many characters that it's going to be hard if anything happens to them. 😆

The twist that the king is the real tyrant was a little surprising but also slig tly expected. I am glad to find that her family wasn't actually dead so that was a very nice surprise since I wanted it to be true 😂

I’m still enjoying this series but the fated mates thing is starting to get to me… getting past that I LOVE the drama. There’s just little twists and turns that I really can’t get enough of and things still haven’t been revealed so I really HAVE to keep reading.

First book was four stars because it was exciting and new and learning about all this stuff yayaya, but this book was four stars because you really root for the characters and are more invested in their relationships
