In comparison with the first one I liked this one less. It didn't grab me till the last +- 25%.Â
Also it's very hetero; "It wasn't easy for [Zannah] to blend in the crowd; although she was of average height, she was a strikingly attractive young woman. It was necessary for her to take precautions when she didn’t wish to draw the appreciative stares of males, or the envious glances of other females". A whole ficking Galaxy and no gays? No genderless species? (Back to the Wayfarer we go than)
Besides that, as bisexual woman I absolutly loved Zannah. She is strong but knows she still has a lot to learn. In the first book I loved Bane but here, for me, he is a side caracter of Zannah's story.
I'm curious about the last book! And will pick it up soon.

It continues the series of Darth Bane, with an accent on his apprentice.

That ENDING though.
Side note: what is going on with the cover art of this trilogy? Like, specifically this book, but also generally all of them are...yeah.Â
