vix4637's review against another edition
A lot of sex scenes which was fun and cute in the first book, but starts to get tiring after reading it every other page it felt like. I loved the storyline of the first book, which is what made me want to read the second Crossfire book. However, the more I read, the more I thought it was too repetitive. Gideon and Eva has a toxic cycle of fighting one minute and be all over each other the next. I would’ve finished the series if it had more plot and less sex and arguing.

There isn’t really much of a plot. The book is essentially a trauma bond/highly sexual relationship. Definitely has some ick moments
