To Kiss a Highland Rose, by Tamara Gill. I enjoyed reading this romantic story. The story is a short read which reads at a moderate pace. The book is mainly focused around the romantic courtship between Elizabeth and Sebastian. The dialogue was understandable, even though their was a little brogue here in there.
I liked that the writer used the brogue dialect, because it added to the realism of the book. The characters contributed to the witty moments of the romance of Elizabeth and Sebastian. With the drama being light, I was still entertained by the plot of the story. The writer did a great job of capturing my imagination with telling a good story. I look forward to reading more from her.

I found the heroine boring and didn't feel much chemistry between the main characters. Overall the book was a bit slow.
