I hated this so much. 

I committed to reading this for a book club and it wasy first buddy read otherwise I would have DNF'd it multiple times. 

The plot was not only twisty but also twisted. There was no need for the amount of descriptive scenes of torture porn throughout the book. 

My list of trigger warnings for this is about as long as each chapter in this book.

-The violence in this book is so over the top that it became unbelievable 
-The characters are constantly stated to be smart/clever but almost never figure anything out on their own
-I honestly think this book could have been 200 pages shorter and nothing of value would be lost

This one kept me engaged from early on - which is exactly what I look for in a book. It's graphic and difficult at points, so that's something to get through.
