you know I have to give her credit because there was actual plot and not just scenes of them having sex every 5 pages

It’s a cute feel good book, I’ve read better by Penelope but this still was a solid good book. The message it portrayed was beautiful as well!

While I did enjoy this (because I'm a sucker for tropes like brother's best friend), I really wish there was more drama when the story moved from the past to current timeline that started in the prologue. There really needed to be more tension and drama before the two should have been able to make up and get back together. Also a plot thread was left hanging with the information that Jace remembers that Farrah and Nathan's dad refusing to pay the robber that wound up killing him and his wife. Yes, I know Jace never told them (at least he didn't when the story ended), but it seems like throwing that in there would have led to something more plotwise, but maybe that's just me.

Boring. These narrators are getting boring. Sebastian York sounds like an old man.

What an emotional and heartwarming story! I loved this brother's best friend tale that revisited the past and revealed long-hidden secrets. Filled with a passionate slow-burn romance, this was a book I just couldn't put down. Both Farrah and Jace were well-developed characters and them chemistry between them was undeniable. I adored the ending! It was swoon-worthy and perfect.

I really, really loved this book. Tbh, the characters and storyline were super realistic, which is one of the reasons why I loved it so much. Jace and Farrah are 6 years apart, so when she was 12, he went off to college. And when Jace went off to college, this devastated young Farrah. Despite the age difference, Farrah had a crush on Jace for as long as she could remember. Over the years, Jace would come back to his hometown, then leave for a period of time, then leave again… all for understandable reasons. However, Farrah’s crush and feelings never waned… and neither did Jace’s.
