August 2020.
This is the best book I've read this year so far.

Even though Cesare, our main character, may seem unlikeable - don't let it mess with you. Masterful language in which this book was written and was so awesomely translated will unravel that deep down underneath the mask of cynisism there's a man with a big heart that just never tried to communicate with world without being overly witty and smartass.

77 years old and yet Cesare only now on his way to set all things right: life, relationships, memories, children. And let me tell you, this book shows you that this kind of revelation is never too late to stumble upon.

Warm but still truthfully portraying life, no bullshit and no sugarcoating. This book is a well of quotes and philosophical observations.
Simply amazing.

Cannot recommend it more.

I'm in awe.

Divna zivotna prica, protkana crnim humorom.

Hvala lepo.
