Re-read. I’m becoming more and more impressed with the narrator that plays Feyre. She is absolutely amazing. I will admit I was slightly disappointed at the beginning of the series when Rhys didn’t sound like Henry Cavill, but the guy who does the voice of Rhys is quickly becoming one of my favorite male narrators.

This was everything I wanted out of the graphic audio and more!!! I am doing a re-read and decided to do the graphic audio this time and I couldn't be happier. Listening to Feyre's story and everything that happens is fantastic

For a romantasy book,  I think this has the perfect amount of angst, betrayal, longing, hurt/comfort, bittersweetness, spice, healing. It has everything I want in a fantasy romance to make my heart feel every emotion. I'm not going to sit here and pretend that the writing is perfect though. I hate it every time I have to hear 'vulgar gesture', 'phantom wind', 'once, twice, three times'. It gets annoying. But when a book is this long and everything else is good, I can forgive.

All the voice actors as amazing at their job. A lot more are introduced in this part and I thought it might have been confusing to keep up with them but it wasn't. Conversations between many characters were easy to keep up with and kept you in the moment

Could not recommend this enough for a re-read

The fight scenes were great. Amren and Feyre trying to get the book and nearly drowning. The books voice talking to Feyre. Rhys getting shot by the arrows and Feyre going beast mode. Hybern attacking Velaris and Feyre going after the Attor. Everything with the Cauldron and her sisters at the end. It was all amazing to listen to. There were screams, and tense music, drums, fighting and sword clashing. It was everything I want a graphic audio to be. Even though I knew what was going to happen at the end, I was still on the edge of my feet going "NOOOOOOOOOO" Made me fall in love with this book again.

The fun scenes with Feyre walking through Velaris and having dinner with the inner circle, STARFALL!! It all made it feel magical with the little music in the background.

Chapter 54 and 55. Rhys confessing everything that has happened to him and what he did because of Feyre. How she would remember him saying stuff and it would jump to his voice. The tension as Rhys spoke. It was everything. And as for chapter 55.... When Feyre was with Tamlin it was icky. But with Rhys it was sexy and heartfelt. Obviously this is a slow burn and people are just waiting for them to have sex, but it felt like so much more to them here. Their mating bond and coming clean and Feyre still wanting to love Rhys. It was done beautifully. In love.

*Spoiler for an online theory and what I think. I guess it's a spoiler?*

Fan Theory:
Mor is secretly evil and working against the inner circle

In this re-read I've been thinking of the fan theories I see online and this is a pretty big one, and I can see where it's coming from.... When they go for the cauldron Jurian talks to Mor with hatred and says 'You have always been such a liar Morrigan'. When Mor goes to kill Hybern but stops he says 'What a mighty Queen you are.' Not that she could be a Queen, or one in the future or past. But that she is one... Where is that coming from?

Also how multiple times when Mor was threatened at the Hewn City or with Hybern Azriel steps in to get them to back off. But he doesn't actually say anything. Just looks intitmiting and growls. Is he trying to protect Mor? Or keep them away from her because he knows what she is capable of and fears for them? Feyre thinks he is in love with Mor but Arzriel never actually confirms this. She said that at the Cauldron Azriel looked at Mor with concern and something she didn't recognise. We are meant to think love but what if its isn't? What is Mor is secretly the Queen of something and only Az knows and he is working for her? Or she is evil and worries what she can do.

Her power is also truth but we still don't know WTF that means.

We know that in the next ACOTAR book that comes out there will be a betrayal. I think it could be Mor. She is a little sus and I'm only finding more things that point to her in the re-read.
