What a great book! After reading the reviews I admit to not expecting to enjoy it and page 1 appeared to bolster my expectations. But by page 2 I was hooked! A dark, yet uplifting story about the struggles of fitting in and being accepted by society, in conflict with accepting who we really are and being true to ourselves. The translation is excellent and really brings out the characters' personalities and their traits.

C'est très court mais c'est porteur d'un message très sympa, il y a des passages drôles et j'ai appris des choses sur le Japon

I reread this book while I was away on a camping trip course thing and it’s a good book to reread but I really don’t like that one male character in it which put me off slightly.

*Update* Had another reread of it and I actually like it a lot more but I still hate the male character in the book.
