Filled in some blanks from book one that I refused to consider, because I was in the first book solely for Jude.

I hate Taryn and 50 pages from her POV didn’t do anything to fix that. I still hate her, I hated reading about her. This was unnecessary and a waste of my time.

A really interesting look into Taryn’s point of view during The Cruel Prince. I like that it written as if being spoken to, written to Jude. Nothing ground breaking or hugely motivating in terms of my perspective of Taryn, but it satiated me as I eagerly await TWK. It reiterated my intrigue in the world that Holly Black has crafted and the snippet for TWK at the end had me reeling and ready for the next book!!!
