Continued Heroes v Villain Army arc. This entire arc is so stressful, I’m so emotionally exhausted. I’ve basically read this whole volume gaping.

I was immediately petrified seeing my Aizawa on the cover with Shiggy, I cannot handle anyone else getting hurt, nope. But of course despite only being 75% finished (I’m sure that’ll be important later, hopefully in defeating him), Shiggy still managed to wake up n holy fuck the havoc he has wrecked. Side note his dream sequence was really cool with his family being the literal hands like his OG costume holding him back and trying to stop him. And then Nana Shimura, his grandmother and All Might’s predecessor, was also reaching out telling him not to forget her. So interesting. Also NGL, Shiggy looks good, even as his crusty self, this upgraded version is sexy in a terrifying way lol. His HP has leveled up to insanity levels, he basically disintegrated the entire area. Luckily none of our favs got caught in the crossfire, but we lost some top level heroes at the blink of an eye. Thank GOD someone saved Aizawa cuz he was grabbed and I almost lost my god damn mind.

Back to the mansion plot, my angel Tokoyami was able to save Hawks thank GOD! Hawks’ entire back is burned though!! Wtf does that mean for his wings?! I’m so stressed!! Also Dabi trying to say that the heroes are dirtier than they are and trying to twist poor Tokoyami’s heart against his mentor (though it gutted me when Dabi pointed to poor Twice, he did die trying to save his friends but we all know it’s not that simple). I’m literally so proud of Tokoyami for getting him out and scooping him up in his arms saying he knows he’s a good person, ugh, my heart.

So Shiggy has literally inherited All For One’s powers now and I am STRESSED! He can straight up sense Deku and targets him. I’m relieved Endeavor believes him and immediately helps to take Shiggy away from the evacuation site. Also that Bakugo IMMEDIATELY jumps into action and follows Deku, sobs. He says it’s to get his own revenge, which fair he does have his own bone to pick with Shigaraki and still believes he’s the reason All Might lost his powers (much to my devastation), but I know it’s to help Deku however he can. He’s competitive as fuck with him, but let’s get real this is Bakugo’s way of showing affection. Also thank GOD Gran Torino could save them, babies cannot handle Shiggy and the panel of them potentially disintegrating was 10000% not ok.

My sexy man Aizawa is back blocking Shiggy’s decay thank the lord omfg. The cuts to his inner monologue saying how he needs to step up and protect his students SHATTERD MY HEART IM SO EMOTIONAL! Also that it showed all of Class A and my sweet Shinso!!! SOBS!! He literally loves them so much I am not ok!!!! But his eraser quirk is more important than ever and Shigaraki knows he needs to take him down. Side note, incredible call back to Shiggy saying “you really are so cool, Eraser” just like what feels like eons ago back at the USJ. But with Shiggy coming after him because the other heroes are distracted by insane nomus, my sweet boys jumped in to help Aizawa showing flashbacks of their moments with him. So this freaking book ends with Deku and Bakugo jumping in to protect their teacher and I am weak.

This arc may be the death of me. I am not emotionally stable with this series. It doesn’t feel over by a long shot either, oof.
