This is my first read in this series and let me just say......I am already obsessed and need them all!
The characters were amazing! The chemistry and steam- oh my word—- and the feels!!!!! A love triangle in a sense ..... that is just so beautiful and raw and pulls at your heart strings. This story is also about finding your true self, worth and who you are- loved the story line and the characters so much! Bring on the rest of the series .... I am diving in! Def must read!

It has taken me forever to write a review for this book because I honestly could never figure out where to start. I lack the words that would provide this book adequate justice.

Fiona Cole has done it again within her Voyeur series. Lovers is EVERYTHING.

Jake, Carina, and Jackson. Woah. I knew, I absolutely knew that someone was going to be hurt by the end of this story. I was not wrong, and man did it hurt my heart. A direct and profound battle against the pain and the triumph of true love and soulmates.

Jackson. He broke my heart with his loyalty. His pure love. His sacrifices.

Carina. She is powerful and would do anything for her man. Even suffer with grace.

Jake. His turmoil wrecked me. His pain was beautiful, but no more than his breakthrough.

I absolutely loved the humor, the wit, and the intimate moments between the characters. Of course, and as you should always expect from Fiona Cole, there were some amazingly HOT scenes. But this book was so much more than just erotic chapters.

It was love, in its purest form. Friendship. Angst. Pain. Redemption.

This storyline was absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait for more from the Voyeur world.

And as always from my reviews, my favorite quotes:

“If it meant I could have him, I’d love them both”

“It felt like coming home. Better than I’ve ever felt with anyone else’s arms around me.”

“More tears burned my eyes knowing there was no way to keep one without losing the other. But no matter how much I knew it, I wasn’t going to stop trying.”

I really loved this book! I didn’t see it all playing out this way, but I loved the journey there. Jake really got to fall in love with his friend though the road getting there was not easy. I felt his pain. I felt like those were very real emotions for him. I felt they were written beautifully.

Really good and really hot MMF. Took on a different direction at the end which I was happy to see.

So much anticipation and heart racing moments in one story! ❤️ I could not wait for Jake and his truth to come out! This was an amazing read about what it's like to discover who you are regardless of who you love. I loved Carina and hope there is so much more to be told regarding her life. This was steamy and had it's sad and happy moments and moments that made you feel anger, all the emotions that draw you in as a reader and let you connect to each character. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a hot romance to indulge in! Thanks for writing such an amazing story Fiona!

It's going to be awhile until I'm over this book. The Lovers was another AMAZING hit from Fiona Cole. I couldn't have been happier when It was announced that Jackson would get his own story. Especially when I found out it'd be an MMF novel. It was EXTREMELY hot and downright emotional. The storyline went to a place I didn't expect it to go. While I admire that, I can't help but feel disappointed it wasn't what I hoped it'd be. I can't wait to see what Fiona writes next!!!

I don't know what to rate this because on one hand I really, really had fun reading this and devoured this book and could not put it down at all and I really loved these characters and their relationship with one another. it filled my heart with happiness...but the way this book ended, was not at all what I expected. I loved the love these three had for each other, and I was rooting so hard for them and when shit started to hit the fan, I thought they'd come out of it stronger than ever...but one didn't, and that just upset me. so because of that I don't know how I feel about this now even though I am glad the other two got their happy ending, I just wished the other one was apart of it in the end :(

I liked this right up until I realized that the woman in the story was going to be tossed aside to make this a m/m story exclusively, and then they cheated on her with each other outside of their sort of triad thing and magically she was okay with that (okay she got a little mad but not really) and while I am sure there are people in the real world who have things like that happen and react like that I just couldn't help but feel like she was just such a pawn in the story. We don't even know if she ended up with someone, and it just all felt really weird and stupid.

This is the second book by Fiona Cole that I have read. What I have rapidly come to realise is that Fiona creates and develops her characters and her stories in a way that is so real. So much more than I ever thought it would be. It hits so close to home for many people. This book is beautiful, raw and real. This book has it all; happy, sad, dirty and funny. Jake, Carina and Jackson are simply hot.

This wasn’t your typical MMF menage read. This book was all about finding yourself, being comfortable with who you are, being brave and following your heart. The outcome was so much more than I even expected. There was so much angst and passion and heartbreak woven into these pages that it had me completely enraptured from start to finish.

I have devoured two of Fiona Cole’s books having not read her before, and I can firmly say after finishing The Lovers she will be definitely going on my author favorites list. I love her writing style and the depth and the amount of emotions she pours into her characters bringing them to life from every single page. I loved this story and highly recommend this addictive read.
