I DNR’d this book the moment I read “There is so much evidence vaccines could be the cause of Autism.” Nope! I’m done! I don’t care even if you are a just a romance/erotica author, you don’t spread pseudoscience.

This book was atrocious. I loved the first one so much I can't even describe, but this book fell flat in every possible way. It was basically the same plot as the first book, except let's add in a baby! We still have Nora with Scorpion, blah blah blah. Also, I can't tell you how many times I wanted to hit Brooke in the face with a frying pan. Holy beejeezus. I'm pretty sure she doesn't love HIM, as much as she loves his body because that is all she ever talked about. This book was just totally shallow and pretty much terrible. The mediocre writing from the first one, definitely took a dive but we didn't even have lovable and relatable characters anymore! 1 out of 5 stars, and it was only my love of the first book that kept this from being a DNF.

My heart is full, I am beyond happy for Remy and Brooke.🩵🖤

Unlike the first book (which I adored still), FMC Brooke stuck by her man fully. There were one or two bumps along the road, but she full-heatedly trusted MMC Remington and thank God for that.

My big complaint from he previous book was how horny Brooke was for Remy. That did not change this book, but due to spoilers, I don't blame her too much. Same with her whiny attitude. It is justifiable this time around.

As for my lion king Remy? Dear lord, I loved him then, I love him now. He is as beautifully layered in this novel as he was in Real. I will worship this man for the rest of my life, seriously. I am so excited to read his POV next.

To make a long story short, loved this book. 10/10 will read again along with Real. 🐥💕

I know, I know - I shouldn't have done it. But it's like watching a car crash, I just couldn't help myself. And it got worse! What little plot exists could have been lifted from a soap opera, the sex scenes are insanely repetitive, and at one point she even mentions vaccines being linked to autism, so there's plenty of stupidity in here, too. Its only saving grace is that it's short, so I didn't waste too much of my life on this toxic crap.
