Myles and Everleigh had a forever love, but Miles' refusal to leave the game had her running away. Then tragedy brought her back home, and Miles was determined to make her stay. Twelve years is a long time to be apart, but the years were swept away.

This was my favorite of the whole group. Miles' past wasn't overdone or overly dramatic. Everleigh and her fiancé were a temporary distraction that I was glad to see get taken care of. Who doesn't drop everything when their love loses a parent? Leigh's mom dying was the emotional backdrop the story needed and I loved how the writing showed her dad's struggles, her own, and the strain on the budding relationship she was rekindling with Miles. I loved their love. And finding out why Leigh was so afraid and why she felt like she had to leave was a great plot point. Miles' anger and frustration with her was understandable, but so was her need to protect him. I liked the push/ pull of that. Leigh's friends were great, and Miles' extended family was still funny and touching. Great book.

Myles and Everleigh were once in a relationship that ended when Everleigh packed up and left for LA. More than a decade later, they meet again under less than ideal circumstances.

Everleigh's mother had a stroke, and Myles is there to comfort her in her time of need, having stayed close to her parents ever since the break up. But what about Easton, Everleigh's fiancé? Will he get in the way of their happiness?

I wasn't super attached to Myles during the past books, but I am now. He's so protective over the people he loves, and I loved when he punched Easton for what he did to Everleigh. And then when he took care of someone else that may or may not have caused their original breakup in the first place.

HE GETS STUFF DONE!!!

Similarly to Heal My Heart, this one also had some heavier themes that the characters had to deal with. That was handled nicely, I didn't feel like the resolution was too quick.

We also got cameos from the other characters, and I find it so funny that they keep popping out kids, while at the same time a lady who has 15 kids was on TV (I was reading in the living room and it was on), perfect sync. NOBODY HAS 15 KIDS HERE THOUGH, at least not yetttt.

I kid I kid, but I would love more updates on them all. And potentially even more spinoffs. I AM NOT READY TO LET THEM GO YET. Luckily, I know there's update novellas on them all, but I don't think that will be enough. I NEED MORE.

Not bad. I read it in less than 24 hours so clearly I enjoyed it. The sex scenes were repetitive & uninspiring. An editor was needed for this book. Some verbs were used in the wrong tense & there was even a sentence that was completely unfinished. Some things made me cringe, but overall Myles & Everleigh are a cute couple.

Worth the wait!!

I’m not going to lie, I was one of the reader who mentioned Myles story in my review of the previous story. This story was all that I was hoping and waiting for! I loved Myles and Everleigh they were my favorite couple. I loved that they were older characters. After 12 years a part it was as if no time had passed. I’m glad we got rid of Easton pretty quickly so all my focus could be on the main couple. Great story and ending.
