I was never on thr Glee train, I had no idea she did music, and I didn't know she was a child star. I only picked this up after I was watching a video on "shmariana shamde" and they mentioned this memoir and that it was pretty good.
I listened to the audio book that was read by her, and I felt it kind of took the emotion out of a lot of it tbh. But I did like the structure. Separating things into sections she wanted to talk about and we slowly had her life timeline filled in.
I know enough about glee for the glee tea to still be interesting.
This autobiography was alright. It wasn't bad, but it didn’t make me cry or think, and proved she a person like everyone else, and kind of exactly the kind of person I expected she'd be like.

This book had a lot of tea but was also really sad!!! Probably would have been 4 stars but she really used the R word in 2016??? Yikes.

I thought this was an okay book. I, personally, did not like the structure of the story-telling. I would have preferred if it was chronological. It started chronological but then glossed over details to come back to them later. It felt like the author was refreshing our memory when starting to tell a new story and in doing so, repeated herself a lot.
